Is this the 6-speed gearbox? If so, you got yourself the rarest version of the W210, and one of the best. The overdrive-like 6th lowers fuel consumption massively, but performance is on a par with that of the 6-cylinder E 280, thanks to this engine's 260Nm. The best of both worlds.
Yes, it is 6 speed gearbox. Its awesome in long trips.
6 speed gearbox is a short shift gearbox. In fact, 6 speed is 5 speed for 722.6. The first speed of 716.630 (6 speed gearbox) is very short.

Great! How have you installed it :? Where have you taken signal from?
You just need put the sensor on the gearbox. Connect the sensor signal (+) to the rev counter on (W) Connect the sensor signal (-) to the mass. Finally you need pull power to the signal (+) of rev counter. Do you want some pics?

One more question; my rev counter has 3 pins W + and - ; Do i connect - on the rev to the mass :?
